Saturday at Chick-fil-A!

Every Saturday morning Justin and I take Gracy to Chick-fil-a to eat breakfast and play! However, it is tax season so the past month Justin has had to work Saturdays. Gracy and I still make the best of our family ritual. She always makes lots of friends (young and old) and has finally learned to eat all of her bites before playing. I always order the multi-grain bagel, chicken, egg, and cheese combo meal, a yogurt parfait minus the granola, and an apple juice. I eat the sandwich while Gracy takes down the hashbrown rounds, yogurt, and apple juice. It works for us:-) Here are a few pictures and a video of Gracy playing in the play area at our local Chick-fil-A

Highlights of 2011 thus far!

We have had a great year already and we're only 2 months into it!  Some of the events and changes in our lives have been:

- Gracy is becoming a bigger and bigger and bigger girl! We went to Gracyn's pediatrician this past week(fun fact:  I thought I wanted to be a pediatrician when I was in the second grade.  I think I just liked the word) and she is 26 pounds and 34 1/2 inches tall!  The check up went very well.  She got her last shot until she turns 3:-)

- Justin is officially a CPA.  He got his certificate in the mail a few weeks ago.  Yay!  Congrats to him.  Gracy and I are so proud that his hard work has paid off.  He also began working at his new firm at the beginning of the year and is new getting the opportunity to work on audits as well as taxes.

- Gracy got a new potty.  Unfortunately she only wants to sit on it when she doesn't have any "business" to take care of.  As soon as she feels some "business" coming she wants her diaper back on pronto.  It is so funny.  She is very shy about her "business".  She will go in the other room to find privacy when she is going in her diaper.  It is cute (well to me cause I'm her mommy).

- I have been decorating to make our apartment a little homier (is that a word?).  I will be posting a few of my decorating attempts soon!  I have also been trying to work on the wedding planning. . .I never could have imagined how much goes into a wedding. . . thankfully my mom and sister are helping with a lot of the planning and it is getting done slowly but surely, detail by detail.  Compromise is the word of the month in our home between my decorating and our wedding planning.  Justin and I tend to have very different ideas about both of these topics.  Lol!  By the time our wedding is over we should be pros at coming to conclusions and making decisions we can both live with.

Justin loves taking pictures. . . can't you tell!  LOL!
